Edo State Audit Service Commission was inaugurated on the 12th of October 2021 by His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Edo State, and it is headed by the chairman and 4 board members.

Our Objectives
To be an autonomous audit service organisation that supports the auditors general in providing oversight on all public expenditure to drive fiscal and economic improvement in Edo State.
Building a disciplined workforce that promotes accountability, transparency and integrity in the use of public service resources and provides technical advisory to the state government on audit standards and audit policy matters.
Advise the State Government on policy issues relating to audit matters.
Implement government policies on audit matters.
Promote transfer and confirm appointments of persons employed by the commission.
Dismiss and exercise, disciplinary control over such persons holding or acting in such offices.
