Edo State Auditor Service Commission is the governing body responsible for overseeing the auditing function within the state government. Comprised of dedicated professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability, our commission plays a vital role in ensuring the effective and efficient use of public resources. Inaugurated on the 12th of October 2021 by His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Edo State, and it is headed by the chairman and 4 board members., our commission serves as the cornerstone for ensuring efficient and effective auditing practices across Edo State.

We manage the financial affairs of Edo State government entities. We are responsible for guaranteeing openness, accountability, and adherence to financial legislation and standards. This includes conducting audits on all state agencies, departments, and programmes to assess their financial procedures, performance, and use of public monies. The purpose is to increase efficiency, eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse, and make suggestions for improvements. Our work is critical to preserving public trust and confidence in government institutions.
